Mark W. Barrow, age 53, of Pittsfield, IL passed away on Monday, March 22, 2021 at his home.  He was born on April 19, 1967 in Alton, IL to Larry and Janet Hammond Barrow.  He married Kim Bigley Dennis on September 19, 2020 in Pittsfield, and she survives.

Mark graduated from Alton High School and went on to work various jobs including mowing lawns, tearing down barns, and owned and operated Barrow Scrapping.  He enjoyed putting model cars together and watching car racing, especially Nascar.  He was talented at drawing and greatly loved spending time with his family and friends.  Mark was a stubborn but lovable man who will be missed by those who knew him.

He is survived by his mother, Janet Barrow; wife, Kim Barrow; brother, Tim (Allen) Barrow of Pittsfield, IL and half-brother, Larry (Suzette) Hamilton of Alton, IL; stepdaughter, Jennifer Dennis of Pittsfield, IL; step granddaughter, Laney Hare of Pittsfield, IL; nephew, Joshua Barrow of Pittsfield, IL; aunt, Donna Stanley of Pittsfield, IL along with several other aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Barrow; grandparents, Lois Long, Wayne Barrow, and Jerry Barrow; uncle, James Hammond; and cousins, Shelly Hammond and Steven Korte.

A public visitation will be held on Friday, March 26, 2021 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Niebur Funeral home in Pittsfield.  There will be no funeral service and interment will be at a later date.  Memorials are suggested to be made to the family c/o Niebur Funeral Home.  Niebur Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
