Bruce Kevin Bennett, age 52, of Pittsfield, IL passed away at his home in Pittsfield, IL on Friday, February 19, 2021. He was born on September 19, 1968 at Illini Community Hospital in Pittsfield, IL to Curtis Bennett and Donna Rose Ruble.
He will be forever remembered by his extended family and friends and the many lives he touched. Bruce enjoyed camping, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. He especially enjoyed tinkering on his vehicles and lawn mowers. Bruce had a giving heart and was always there for anyone who needed a friend to listen or a shoulder to lean on. He was an avid collector of eagle figurines and collectibles.
Bruce is survived by his loving mother, Donna R. Folsom of Hannibal, MO; father, Curtis (Linda) Bennett of Arizona; children, Catherine (Ricky Winters) McBride of Jacksonville, IL, Kevin Bennett of Hamburg, IL, Brittni Bennett of LaGrange, MO; siblings, Linda (Ron) Heskett of Eudora, KS, Carma (Richard) Terry of Baldwin City, KS, Stanley (Karen) Wismer of Alsey, IL, Joanna Wismer of Riverside, MO, Kevin (Tracy) Bennett of Baldwin City, KS and Donna (Jamie Dilbeck) Folsom of Hannibal, MO; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
He was preceded in death by his step-father, Frank W. Folsom, Jr.
All services are to be held privately with interment at Winchester Cemetery in Winchester, IL. Memorials are suggested to be made to the family c/o Niebur Funeral Home. Online condolences may be left to the family at www.nieburfh.com. Niebur Funeral Home in Pittsfield is handling the arrangements.
