Gwendolyn A. Johnson, age 94, of Pittsfield, IL passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Liberty Village in Pittsfield. She was born on November 4, 1926 in Summer Hill, IL to Bryan and Alta Turnbaugh Brokaw.
Gwendolyn graduated from Higbee High in Pittsfield and worked various jobs in her lifetime including being a caregiver. She was also a member of the Church of Christ.
She is survived by her daughter, Beanita (Kevin) Travis and several nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bryan and Alta Brokaw; husband, Bobby Jack Adams; brother, Gawain Brokaw; and sister, Glenna Hillman.
All services will be held privately and interment will be at Greenpond Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to be made to Donor’s Choice. Online condolences may be left to the family at www.nieburfh.com. Niebur Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
