My dear sweet Shelly. I will miss you and the love you had for all the animals of Pike County. We helped each other for 10 years and saved so many lives and helped them on their way to new beginnings. I'm writing this on a Friday night at 10:55. This would have been the time we were on the phone wrapping up our transport list. You were the light and love or all the creatures that made their way to you. Pike county was lucky to have you. I was lucky to call you Friend. I love you Shelly. You will forever be in my heart.

Janet, Derek, Crispy, J.T, and Hannah,

I'm so sorry for your loss. I know from losing my own mother how hard it can be. I know that you guys don't remember me, except Janet and maybe Derek. I used to live around the corner from your Grandmother and I would come over and babysit you. We would eat pizza most of the time, which is one of my favorites. I was just telling my husband about how you guys paid me a great compliment and told me that you thought I looked like Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman. I hope that you'll e-mail me pics of yourselves and your families.

Gwen
