John O. Hoover, age 90, of Osage Beach, MO, formerly of Milton, IL, passed on to Heaven on Friday, September 28, 2018 at Lake Regional Hospital with family at his side. He was born on May 13, 1928 in Milton, IL to Harry and Hilda Johnston Hoover.  He married Clemma Sparks on July 25, 1950, and she survives.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Clemma; two sons, Roger Hoover of Osage Beach, MO and Ed (Sonnie) Hoover of Winchester, IL; a daughter, Kathy (Tom) Sheldon of Mandeville, LA; six grandchildren, Brittany (Kenny) MacMaster, Alison (Scott) Lee, Sean (Kalyn) Hunter, Kobie Hoover, Dante Hoover, and Adam Hoover; five great grandchildren, Mason MacMaster, Hunter MacMaster, Lilly Lee, Valie Hunter, and Jordon Hunter; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
