Janice Ann Dubree, age 53, of Springfield, IL passed away at her residence on Sunday, September 16, 2018.  She was born on September 16, 1965 in Decatur, IL to Richard Dubree and Jackie Hendren.

Janice attended Moberly Senior High School in Moberly, MO and then went on to Washington University in St. Louis, MO were she received her Bachelors Degree.  After graduating, she worked in the IT Department at Barnes Hospital for several years.  Janice’s pride and joy was her 10 year old chihuahua, Maddy.  She also loved her Harley and enjoyed attending many Harley rallies through the years.  Janice liked to sing and play her guitar, and she also enjoyed puzzles, crafts, and making jewelry.

She is survived by her father, Richard (Mary Ann) Dubree of Watertown, WI; mother, Jackie Hendren of Mt. Pulaski, IL; sister, Julie (Jeff) Garrison of Pleasant Hill, IL; stepbrother, Les (Becky) Stansberry of Mexico, MO; two nephews, Josh and Jacob Garrison, both of Godfrey, IL; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Russell and Grace Dubree, and Marvin and Lydia Wren; and her stepfather, Ron Stansberry.

No services will be held.  Cremation rites will be accorded.  Online condolences may be left to the family at www.nieburfh.com.  Niebur Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

Janice was one of a kind. Tought me about love, life and living free. She touched my heart and life. My family and I will miss her dearly.

To all who knew and loved Janice, I send heartfelt condolences .
She was so kind to me when she didn't need to be. Her generosity was genuine, her open friendship truly appreciated.
I wish you peace; I will raise a glass (or two) to her memory.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Janice was my honorary sister.
She was such a stinker and I loved my time with her and our talks.
I will miss her but I'm also thankful that she no longer suffers with
Pain. Janice and Ernie can laugh together in Heaven

I will always hold you dear in my heart and miss you tremendously. To Jackie and Julie - I know she loved you both and found peace and happiness in your relationships. May you find peace in knowing that she is no longer in any pain. I am so sorry
