Daniel A. Konow, age 57, of Pleasant Hill, IL passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at his home.  He was born on July 29, 1963 in Joliet, IL to Arthur and Donna Nehls Knonow.

Daniel graduated from Joliet East High School in 1981.  Most recently, he had been working for Walmart as an unloader, first working in Bowling Green and then transferring to Pittsfield where he had been the past 8 years.  Daniel really loved his Cap 2 team and had many friends at his job.  He also served as a mentor to many fellow employees.  He loved fishing, golfing, and barbequing and in earlier years, he enjoyed bowling.  Daniel was an ornery and giving man, and was very dedicated to his job.  

He is survived by his brother, Tom Konow of Pontiac, IL; sister, Scarlett Stone of Plainfield, IL; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; step brother, Billy Stone; and step sister, Elsa Stone.
