Dear Mike's Family,
Mike was a brother to me. We spend 12 years of school thru PHS together.
In the first grade I even sat in Mike's seat when I returned from being out of school for Poison Ivy a few days. Mike politely told me that was his chair and mine had been moved! :-) Mike is a buddy always to me. We all will miss Mike. Mike was always cheerfully and making us laugh. He is a dear friend and glad I talked to him at our 40th HS reunion. Bless you all.

To the family of Mike Niebur, words cannot express my surprise and feelings of loss upon hearing of Mike's passing. Although I only lived in Pike County for four years, they were four years of learning how to be a better Minister to those who were grieving. Mike was a great teacher/coach/friend who helped me to help others. He will definitely be missed. My sympathies and prayers go out to you all.

Our hearts are broken. There is such a loss. Mike has touched so many, many lives. Growing up and hanging out with Mike's sister Rhonda, I have many special memories that I'll cherish forever. Mike and I also shared the common thread of having our own businesses in Pike County. No matter what Mike did, he did it out of love and support. He was always giving whether it was as a friend, family, or community member. Giving his all .... to all. He had that knack of making you feel you were being cared for "personally" even when the room might be full. This fine family has been with all of us at times of loss, and now we will be there for all of his family.

Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. It is hard for me to be out my back door now and know I will not see Mike coming and going, waving, at the Funeral Home.
He was very special to so many people and I pray you will always realize YOU were very special to have been picked by him to spend these short years with. God has a plan tho now there is no clarity. Jennifer and family, We were so very saddened to hear of Mikes untimely death. For several years while were members of the New Canton Fire Department we could always count on Mike showing up to support us whenever we had fundraisers. As many know, he was an ever present figure at the Pittsfield Fire Department. I remember when we had a benefit for our then Fire Chief Tim he was a great support, and later when Tim passed he was there for us helping to make everything just right for Tim's service. May he go in peace into the loving arms of our Lord and Saivor.

Jennifer and family,
We were so sorry to hear of Mike's passing. Professionally he served our family with a genuine spirit of compassion as he did everyone. Even though life's path for me is not in Pittsfield, I didn't have to spend long talking to Mike to realize his passion for the community and his love for you and the boys. Praying many wonderful memories will bring peace and comfort. Barney and Marcia (Brown) Wells

I was so sorry to hear of Mike's passing. Mike has provided so many services and comfort to my extended family over the years when our loved ones passed and always had the right words to share and compassion to give. It's hard to express words when an individual like Mike passes on other than he will be remembered by many for a long time for the things he has done for the many. To Mike's loved ones, please accept my condolences on your loss.

Words seem so shallow in expressing the loss of Mike. I did not really know him well until the death of my mother, and during and after that time, when I would see him he made me feel as if we were old friends. T he Pike County community will indeed miss his expertise, but most importantly, that wonderful smile and great sense of humor. My heart goes out to you and the entire family.

Jennifer.....we are deeply saddened by Mike's passing and offer our sincere
condolences to you and Nick. Mike was really liked and appreciated by my parents, Keith & Mary Ellen Shannahan. He treated my mother and our family with such respect and caring after Dad passed away, that Mom knew where she wanted her services...at Nieburs. She was one of Mike's last services, and family& friends were very pleased with the service. God bless your family!

I am so sorry to hear about Mike. He was so kind to his "East Coast Cousins" when we visited Pittsfield several years back. Both he and Jennifer made us feel so welcome. He and his family are in my thoughts and prayers.
