Vincent James Hayes

Vincent James Hayes, age 3 months of Griggsville, IL passed away Monday, July 14, 2025, at his home. He was born April 9, 2025, in Quincy, IL to Kyle P. Hayes and Krista M. Freeman.

Vincent was a shining bright light to his family who was full of smiles and liked to kick his feet, loved to be sung to, and enjoyed time spent in his swing. He took delight in going on walks in his stroller, was a wonderful snuggle bug, and was an absolutely perfect baby boy. He only had one thing he was not a fan of…bathtime! Vincent will be dearly missed by his family.

Vincent is survived by his loving parents, Kyle Hayes and Krista Freeman; brother, Jayden Hayes; sisters, Gwendalynn Lawrence, Charley Hayes, Paisley Hayes, and Sophie Hayes; maternal grandparents, Charles and Mary Freeman; paternal grandparents, Kenny and Debbie Gwartney and Joe Hayes; paternal great grandparents, Mike and Bonnie Heimer, Sheila Gwartney, and Carol Rothermel; and several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.

He was preceded in death by paternal grandmother, Carla Hayes; maternal great grandparents, James Prather and Wanda Prather; and paternal great grandparents, Nancy Huffman, Donnie Hodson, and Kenny Gwartney.
