Troy W. Hawkins

Troy William Hawkins, age 57 passed away peacefully at his home Monday, November 13, 2023, surrounded by family. He was born October 22, 1966, in Taylorville, IL to Charles Hawkins and Leah Cross Stone.

Troy was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. He enjoyed being on the river where he lived, just enjoying the peace and quiet. He loved being with family and friends and telling stories of his youth.

Troy is survived by his five daughters, Lindsay (Billy) Hawkins, Heather (John) Seal, Kelly Bloxam, Chelsay Hawkins and Erika Hawkins; thirteen grandchildren, William, Ebony, Jaxon, Wyatt, Thomas, Hunter, Cameron, Christopher, Blayne, Landyn, Tanner, Brycen and Theodore; three sisters, Connie Emerson, Karen (Jim) Gogerty and Ashley Pratt; significant other, Cheryl Collumn; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews also survive.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; parents; older brother, Jerry Hawkins; uncle, George; and brother-in-law, Tim.

Cremation rites have been accorded and Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorials are suggested to be made to the family c/o Niebur Funeral Home. Online condolences may be left to the family at www.nieburfh.com. Niebur Funeral Home in Pittsfield is handling the arrangements.
