Tina (Molnar) Brown

Tina Brown, age 61 of Milton, IL passed away Friday, February 28, 2025, at Barry Healthcare & Senior Living in Barry, IL. She was born December 31, 1963, in Granite City, IL to George and Louise Daniels Molnar. Tina married Richard Brown on August 23, 1986, at Milton Christian Church and he survives.

Tina attended Holy Rosary Catholic School in Fairmont City, IL until 8th grade, then moved to Milton, IL and was a 1981 graduate of Pittsfield High School. She later attended beauty school and received her CNA license. Tina worked as a CNA at Eastside Rehabilitation, was a cashier at Jiffi Stop, and was a housewife and babysat from her home. Tina was a loving mom who cherished her children and shared a special bond with Allison who took wonderful care of her. She was an avid vegetable and flower gardener who often shared her bounty with Lotus and Pam to can. Tina was crafty and enjoyed painting rocks, flags and woodwork items. She loved her coffee and watching the hummingbirds. Tina was a faithful, honest, loving and caring woman with an infectious giggle who would do anything for anyone and will be dearly missed by those who knew her. LYMIIP with love, Richard.

Tina is survived by daughters, Sapphire Hale and Allison Brown; special family member, Alex Tenllado; niece and nephew, Angela (Steve) Rawdon and Jim Molnar; special family friends, Pam Summers and Lotus Guthrie; and many other family members also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Louis Molnar; son, Jamie Brown; and brother, George ‘Butch’ Molnar, Jr.

Cremation rites have been accorded and there will be a Celebration of Life held from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Saturday, March 29, 2025, at the Milton Community Center. Memorials are suggested to be made to the Teresa Adams House or to the family c/o Niebur Funeral Home. Online condolences may be left to the family at www.nieburfh.com.
