Tammy L. Bauer, age 56 of Pittsfield, IL passed away Friday, March 21, 2025, at her home in New Salem, IL. She was born March 2, 1969, in Pittsfield, IL to Charles LaRue and Agnes C. ‘Kay’ Roth Fisher.
Tammy attended grade school in East Pike and graduated from Pittsfield High School. Tammy worked for Pioneer Seed, cooked at Heartland Lodge, and was an office manager at Community Care. She loved the time she spent managing the Frank Zappa Tribute Band on their U.S. and European tour. Tammy always had many friends near and far, was a unique and caring woman, and had a deep spiritual soul that was a hippy at heart. She was a nature lover with a deep affection for cats and dogs and a country girl who enjoyed helping Phil on the farm and loved spoiling the cattle. Tammy took delight in her spring flowers and valued the bounty her vegetable garden provided, enjoyed crocheting, was an excellent cook, loved mermaids and Bluey cartoons. She found beauty in everything she saw, and treasured time spent with family and friends.
Tammy is survived by her mother, Kay (Bob Scott) Fisher of Pearl, IL; longtime special friend, Phil Gleckler of New Salem, IL; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Joseph and Leona Roth and Jeral and Erma Fisher; and father, Charles Fisher.
