Myers on April 12, 1948, in Lewistown, MO and he preceded her in death on March 11, 2007. She later married Johnson Stilwell in January 2015 and he preceded her in death on August 7, 2020.

Shirley grew up and attended schools in Brown County, IL.  At an early age she married the love of her life, Harley and became a homemaker and stay at home mom for their children.  She started working outside the home in 1966 at Illini Hospital as a CNA and worked various other positions until she went to school and received her phlebotomy license. She continued working at Illini before retiring after 28 years of service.  After retirement she continued her working career at Pittsfield Walmart working in several different departments for the next 15 years.  Shirley enjoyed sewing, embroidering, reading, gardening and canning her produce.  She was a great cook and was known for her Angel Food cake, peanut cake, homemade salsa and her chicken and noodles.  She enjoyed visiting her family in Arizona and Florida over the years.  Shirley loved her church and was a faithful member of the Pittsfield Church of the Nazarene and would often attend the Detroit Christian Church with her second husband Johnson.  Her family was her world, and her grandchildren were the icing on her cake.  Shirley was a smart hardworking woman who was independent and liked being in charge.  She will be remembered as being a very social, sweet caring lady and will be missed by all who knew her.

Shirley is survived by her daughter Linda Jones of Pittsfield, IL; grandchildren, Annessa (Darin Ebbing) Chaplin of Pittsfield, IL, Aaron (Sarah) Adams of Quincy, IL, Amanda (Doug) Robinson of New Berlin, IL Andy (Stacey) Myers of Arizonia, Kristi (Chris) Horner of Texas; step grandchildren Melissa Jones, Laura Kidd, Angela Watts, Christina (Richard) Miskho and Brian Durall; 29 great grandchildren; 15 great great-grandchildren; step son-in-law William Durall.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Harley Myers and Johnson Stilwell; son M.
