Ralph Mart Syrcle, age 73 of Lebanon, MO formally of Griggsville, IL passed away Saturday February 25, 2023, at his home. He was born on April 28, 1949, in Pike County IL to Howard and Vivian Dyer Syrcle.  Ralph married Joyce Clark on December 4, 1970, in Griggsville, IL at the Griggsville Baptist Church and she survives.

Ralph grew up in Griggsville and attended the Baptist church. After school he went on to serve his country in the United States Army in August 1968 during the Vietnam War.  Ralph was a Light Weapons Infantryman and received several medals during his stay. They became family and after retiring, he still spoke to Dawson weekly.  Ralph loved his family and always enjoyed spending time with them.  In his spare time, he enjoyed woodworking, making large TV stands, chairs and other furniture, sometimes gifting his creations to family and friends. He loved a good coon hunt and also liked to hunt for mushrooms.  Ralph and Joyce enjoyed travelling, going to Hawaii and many other states, they also spent a couple of winters in Florida.  He also liked to attend the Military Reunions over the years and reconnect with his fellow Army buddies.  Ralph was a bit opinionated and onery, but he was a loving husband and father who will be greatly missed.
