Ralph J. Kindle

Ralph J. Kindle, age 65, of Pittsfield, IL passed away Monday, May 27, 2024, at Illini Community Hospital in Pittsfield. He was born May 14, 1959, in Montezuma Township, IL to William J. and Dollie Ann Ward Kindle.

Ralph grew up in Pike County and enlisted in the United States Army, spending four years in Germany. He worked at Parks Livestock for over 20 years at the sale barn and then worked for John Haines. Ralph enjoyed cooking, playing cards and gambling. He loved fishing and spending time with his grandkids. Ralph was funny and goofy and was a man of many words.

Ralph is survived by children, Josh (Lesley Parsons) Kindle, Justin (Katie Franklin) Kindle, Sara (Kasey) Kendall and Andy (Dorothy) Kindle; grandchildren, Riley (Ben) Leka, Zayne Parsons, Zeke Parsons, Kolton Kindle, Saidee Lemons, Karlie Kendall, Ashton Kendall, Chevy Kendall, Alexis Swartz, Peyton Swartz, Bentley Kindle, Eastyn Kindle and Briggstyn Kindle; brother, Bill (Sherawn) Kindle; sisters, Kay Church, Deborah (Loyd) Walston, Linda (Ricky) Gress and Alice Norton; sister-in-law, Kathy Kindle; brother-in-law, John White; and several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Dollie Kindle; grandson, Gavin Kendall; sister, Margaret White; and brothers, Richard Kindle, Bob Kindle and Lenard Kindle.

Graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM, Friday, May 31, 2024, at Green Pond Cemetery near Pearl, IL. Memorials are suggested to be made to Milton Fire Department. Online condolences may be left to the family at www.nieburfh.com. Niebur Funeral Home in Pittsfield is handling the arrangements.
