Rae D. (Madson) Wellborn

Rae Wellborn, age 65 of Jacksonville, IL passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at Barry Community Care Center in Barry, IL. She was born February 6, 1957, in Kansas City, MO to Niels and Bonnie Kaehlar Madson.

Rae grew up in the Kansas City, MO area and is of the Christian faith. She enjoyed playing on her computer and creating diamond art paintings. Rae loved the Kansas City Chiefs and enjoyed watching games on tv. Most importantly, Rae deeply enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandkids and her sister, Jeanne.

Rae is survived by sons, Rick Duncan of Missouri and Daniel Duncan of Iowa; daughters, Lisa (Shane) Kunzeman of Pittsfield, IL and Stacey Grosskemper of Kansas City, MO; eleven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Randy (Mary) Madson of Tennessee; and sister, Jeanne Madson of Florida.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Niels and Bonnie Madson.

There will be no services held and cremation rites have been accorded. Memorials are suggested to be made to the family c/o Niebur Funeral Home. Online condolences may be left to the family at www.nieburfh.com. Niebur Funeral Home in Pittsfield is handling the arrangements.
