Nancy Sue (Miller) Collard

Nancy Sue Miller Collard, age 88, formerly of Pittsfield, IL passed away September 19, 2024, in her sleep in Phoenix, AZ. She was born August 23, 1936, to Alvin and Anna Marie Miller.

Nancy married Don Alan Reel and to this union came four sons, Douglas, Mark, Brent and Brian. She later married Eddie Owens and Paul Collard.

Nancy wore many coats in her working career. She spent several years working for Emmett Sanders as an insurance officer, worked for Stark Brothers, in the banking industry and the courthouse. Nancy loved her crafts, and enjoyed spending time sewing, crocheting and scrapbooking. She was also a doting and loving cat owner.

Nancy is survived by sons, Mark (Edith) Reel and Brent (Cindy) Reel; grandchildren, Christopher (Lydia) Reel, Tina (Angela) Reel, Paul Reel and Jeff Reel; five great grandchildren; and one great great grandson; and daughter-in-law, Theresa Reel.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Anna Marie Miller; husbands, Eddie Owens and Paul Collard; sons, Douglas Reel and Sgt 1st Class Brian Reel; twin grandsons, Cory Scott Reel and Cody Alan Reel; and brother, Jerral Miller.

Cremation rites have been accorded and graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 19, 2024, at West Cemetery in Pittsfield, IL. Online condolences may be left to the family at www.nieburfh.com. Niebur Funeral Home in Pittsfield is handling the local arrangements.
