Michael Knight

Michael ‘Mikey’ Knight, age 36 of Pittsfield, IL passed away Friday, November 24, 2023. He was born April 1, 1987, in Quincy, IL to Edward and Nancy Hobkirk Knight.

Mike was a graphic designer and was currently employed by Griffin Signs & Time in Camp Point, IL. During his youth, he was a wrestler and later in life he enjoyed Disc Golf, and he was instrumental in developing the course at Pittsfield Lake. Mike was a proud father who was always on hand to support Zayn in all of his activities. Mikey was a free-spirited individual with a great smile, infectious laugh and an uplifting and bubbly personality. He will be deeply missed by friends and family.

Mike is survived by son, Zayn Knight; his parents, Edward and Nancy Knight; grandmother, Marjorie Hobkirk; brothers, Chad (Amy) Knight and Robert (Sarah) Knight; and seven nieces, Rilyn, Kennedy, Millie, Libby, Natalie, Harper and Emrie.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Bill Hobkirk and paternal grandparents, Edward and Elizabeth Knight.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, November 30, 2023, at Niebur Funeral Home in Pittsfield with interment to follow at Pittsfield West Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 29, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to be made to the family c/o Niebur Funeral Home.
