Michael Bradshaw Obituary

Michael D. Bradshaw, age 75 of Kinderhook, IL, passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at his home surrounded by family and friends. Born September 28, 1950, he was the son of Jerry L. & Naomi (Epley) Bradshaw of Quincy, IL. He married Dollye (Frame) Bradshaw and she survives.

Mike graduated from West Pike High School in 1968 and went on to graduate from Hannibal LaGrange College. Some of the places he worked included Mills Auto Parts, Hadler International Truck Dealership, and The Corps of Engineers Re-Reg Dam. He then joined Local 51 IBEW Springfield as a journeyman line clearance tree trimmer until he retired. He was also a deer guide for many years at Hadley Creek Outfitters and Xtreme Hunts.

Mike loved to dance, hunt and fish, which led him on many adventures and provided him countless valued friendships. A giving soul, Mike would jump in and offer to help someone in need before needing to be asked. He was known for keeping busy all the time, and loved sharing his knowledge with others. You could not meet Mike and not see a smile, hear a joke, or have him invite you into his circle of friends. Even after 16 years of fighting cancer, his sense of humor shined through. But above all of this, what truly defined Mike was his unconditional, unending love for all of his family. He was especially proud of his children, Stacy, Scott, Deana & Brandon, and all of his grandchildren.

Survivors include, wife, Dollye Bradshaw, mother of Brandon Frame, Kinderhook IL; Sherry Graver, mother of Stacy (Gary) Mayfield of St. Peters, MO, and Scott (Mandy) Bradshaw of Kinderhook, IL; Rhonda Lorenson, mother of Deana (Jon) Ross of Monroe City, MO, and E.J. Bainter of Barry, IL; and; grandchildren, Lexi (Cory) Flemming, Alli (Riley) Slinker, Trever (Harley) Bradshaw, Gage (Caitlyn) Bradshaw, Randley Springer, Colton Ross, Hannah Ross, Kaci (Austin) Bradshaw, Dylan (Ava) Ross and Bradley Ross; great-grandchildren, Walker, Jensen, McKenzie, Mason and three on the way; siblings, Marilyn (Jack) Cowden of Hannibal, MO, Jerry R. (Sarah) Bradshaw of Weston, MO, and Tim (Nikki) Bradshaw of New Salem, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents; maternal grandfather and grandmother, Carl & Martha Epley, and paternal grandfather and grandmother, Laraine Bradshaw & Leona Bradshaw-Harms.
