Matthew Robert Booth

Matthew Robert Booth, age 17, of Pittsfield, IL passed away Friday, July 5, 2024, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL. He was born December 8, 2006, in Quincy, IL. His parents are Charles W. and Denise L. Douglas Booth.

Matthew was a member of Nebo Church of the Nazarene and enjoyed attending church services. Matthew loved watching tv and listening to music, he was especially fond of the Hallmark Channel, westerns, religious programs and cartoons. Matthew took great delight in traveling with his family. He had an infectious smile and joyful soul which will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Matthew is survived by his loving parents, Bill and Denise Booth; brother, Logan Booth; sisters, Mariah Booth, Jenna Booth, Carrie (Adam) Johnson and Tayleigh Booth; grandmothers, Thelma Douglas and Ann Hamm; and several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Virgil R. Douglas and Harold J. and Doris J. Booth.
