Lucinda 'Cindi' J. McKenna

Lucinda ‘Cindi’ Jane McKenna, age 68 of Pittsfield, IL was called to heaven Tuesday, February 11, 2025, following a tragic accident on Route 106. She was born September 24, 1956, in Highland Park, IL to Worman ‘Lou’ McKenna and Jane Williams.

Cindi graduated from Pittsfield High School in 1975. She graduated from Capital Area School of Practical Nursing in Springfield as an LPN in 1992. She worked nightshift for over 33 years and also cared for many friends and family members throughout her life. Cindi enjoyed her daily routine of McDonalds fresh coffee and a cold Coke with extra ice. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, coworker and friend known for her kindness and generosity except when she was on prednisone! Cindi was known mostly for her non-wavering faith and love for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Cindi is survived by her loving husband and best friend, Eric Harris; her children, Travis Harris, Casey (Crissy) Harris, Rachel (Matt) Kirgan, and Dillon Durazzo; grandchildren, Sadie Harris, Gavin Harris, Zetta Harris, Nove Graves, Tyler Harris, Mackenzie Harris, McKenna Harris, Charlotte Maeve Harris, Delaney Harris, and Ryder Kirgan; and siblings, Paul (Jacque) McKenna, Marcie (Randy) McGuire, David Williams; stepmother, Bonnie McKenna and her children, Vickie Pursiful, Lisa Brown, and Dawn Barnes.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Cotton and Beatrice McKenna; father, Worman ‘Lou’ McKenna; mother, Jane Williams; and brother, Bruce McKenna.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at Niebur Funeral Home in Pittsfield. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at the funeral home with interment to follow the service at Goodin Cemetery.
