Linda Ann Young

Linda Ann Young, age 71, of Barry, IL passed away on July 31, 2024, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL.  She was born on March 29, 1953, in Barry, IL to Karl E. and Mary Ellen Stearns Young.

Linda was born and raised in Barry, IL and attended the Barry Church of Nazarene.  She loved raising rabbits and goats, and her dog ‘Russell’ who was her best buddy.  She enjoyed watching TV especially Gun Smoke.  She also liked to go to the Cardinal Inn for a meal and   enjoyed good conversation with the other patrons and workers.  She never knew a stranger.  Linda was sweet and kind person who was always happy, she will be missed by all who knew her.

Linda is survived by one brother, Steve (Kathy) Young of Barry, IL; three sisters, Carolyn Richards, Sandy Young, and Sue Young all of Barry, IL; several nieces and nephews also survive.  She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Stanley and Michael Young.
