Kim W. Kremer, age 69, of Pittsfield, IL passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at Illini Community Hospital in Pittsfield. He was born on September 8, 1953 in Carrollton, IL to William and Lillian Daack Kremer. He married Carolyn Denison on December 31, 1982 and she preceded him in death on January 23, 2020.
Kim attended school in Pittsfield and went straight into the workforce. He was a self-employed truck driver, driving for 45 years before his retirement in 2020. Even after retiring, he continued working for various people driving a truck. Kim enjoyed anything to do with the outdoors including hunting, mushrooming, shooting guns, and burning trees and scraps. He also liked golf ball hunting in his backyard and watching Nascar. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren. Kim was very strong-willed and stoic. He was never afraid to stand up for what he believed in and was very smart with a dark sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by those who loved him.
Kim is survived by his daughters, Angela (Steve) Kemner of Quincy, IL, Kimberly Kremer of Wright City, MO, and Amy (David) Kremer of Jacksonville, IL; six grandchildren, Katelyn Kremer, Andrew Kemner, Anthony Kemner, Dallas McKenzie, Rilie Tobin, and Macie Deeder; brother, Tim (Diane) Kremer of Nebo, IL; and sister, Elesha (Mike) Schlabs of Pittsfield, IL; an aunt, uncle, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and his beloved cat, Calico.
