Kayla Ann Sisk

Kayla Ann Sisk, age 38, of Barry, IL passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at home in Barry, IL. Kayla was born December 8, 1983, to Tom and Janice Weiland Elis in Fargo, ND. She married Bryan James Sisk on April 21, 2007, in Barry, IL and he survives.

Kayla was a loving and caring wife, daughter, sister and aunt. She had a deep and faithful relationship with the Lord and shared this with her husband. Kayla taught Bryan what love was and how their shared love of God could bring them closer together. She made him want to be a better man and husband. Spending time with her cats, bible study, shopping, hanging out with friends and enjoying wine were all things Kayla loved. She was also known to be a very competitive card and board game player. Kayla worked for D.O.T. Foods in Mt. Sterling, IL for seventeen years in the pricing department. Her beautiful smile, warm hugs and loving presence will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Kayla is survived by her husband, Bryan J. Sisk; her mother, Jan Elis; twin sister, Jayme Elis and sister, Kelly (Tony) Pervenanze; mother-in-law, Sherry Sisk; sister-in-law, Amy Allison; three nieces, Lauren and Nora Pervenanze and Gabriela Elis; three nephews, Devin, Dylan and Gabriel Allison; and grandparents, John and Marjorie Potter.

She was preceded in death by her father, Tom Elis, and maternal and paternal grandparents.

Memorial service will be held Saturday, March 26, 2022, at 1:00 PM at Niebur Funeral Chapel in Barry, IL with visitation held prior to the service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
