Jeannette K. (Dark) Pults

Jeannette K. Pults, age 77, of Nebo, IL passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at her home. She was born August 2, 1948, in Pittsfield, IL to Charles and Esther Hammitt Dark. She married Donald ‘Donnie’ Pults September 23, 1972, at Park View Church in Quincy and he preceded her in death September 20, 2009.

Jeannette was a 1966 graduate of Pittsfield High School and received her associate's degree in business management at JWCC. She was an accomplished seamstress, sewing for large corporations Nasa, Surf Brothers, and Levis; and Jeannette continued to sew until her untimely passing. Jeannette attended Nebo Church of the Nazarene and was a trustee of the Village of Nebo board. She loved spending time outdoors fishing, camping, horseback riding, and taking family vacations. Jeannette dearly loved her dogs and her family. She was an independent, caring, affectionate, and outgoing woman who will be remembered as friendly and funny to those who knew her.

Jeannette is survived by son, Bryan (Channon) Pults of Pleasant Hill, IL; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and brother, Jeff Dark.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Esther Dark; husband, Donnie Pults; grandson, Zachery; and sister-in-law, Jeannie Pults.

Cremation rites have been accorded, and a private service will be held at a later date. Memorials are suggested to be made to the family c/o Niebur Funeral Home. Online condolences may be left to the family at www.nieburfh.com. Niebur Funeral Home in Pittsfield is handling the arrangements.
