Jason L. Coultas

Jason Lynn Coultas, age 45, of Pittsfield, IL passed away on Monday, November 29, 2021 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL.  He was born on May 11, 1976 in Pittsfield, IL to Jeffrey and Cynthia Brown Coultas.  He married Lauren Allison in Texas on November 21, 2010, and she survives.

Jason graduated from high school in Victoria, Texas and went on to become a CNA working for over 15 years before retiring in 2012.  He and his family relocated to Pittsfield in 2013 and became members of the Pittsfield Assembly of God.  Church and his faith were very important to him.  Jason was a huge Chicago Cubs fan and enjoyed collecting swords as well as listening to audiobooks and 80’s music.  He was always laughing and was very jolly although a little stubborn at times.  He was a huge family man and will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his wife, Lauren Coultas of Pittsfield, IL; mother, Cynthia Coultas of Pittsfield, IL; sons, Justin McLain of Pittsfield, IL, David Coultas of Texas, Zackarie Coultas of Texas, and Robert Coultas of Pittsfield, IL; daughters, Dannielle Coultas and Kayley Coultas, both of Pittsfield, IL; two grandchildren; aunts, Faye Wainman of Bloomington, IL, Alice Doyle of Pittsfield, IL, Pat Kingery of Pittsfield, IL, and Darlene Robinson of Joliet, IL; uncle, Earl (Laurie) Brown of Griggsville, IL; and several cousins and in-laws.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jeffrey Lynn Coultas; sons, Alex Coultas and Geoffrey Coultas; two grandchildren; and brothers, Jeffrey Kent Coultas.

Funeral services will be held privately and interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Pittsfield.  Memorials are suggested to be made to the family c/o Niebur Funeral Home.  Online condolences may be left to the family at www.nieburfh.com.  Niebur Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
