James Donaldson

James ‘Jimmy’ Donaldson, age 73 of Pittsfield, IL passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at Timber Point Healthcare Center in Camp Point, IL. He was born May 29, 1952, Jacksonville, IL to Marion and Martha Long Donaldson. James married Judith Elaine Cooper April 11, 1974, at the Valley City Christian Church and she preceded him in death June 10, 2020.

Jimmy enjoyed spending time at home with his wife, Judy. He was employed by City of Pittsfield for nearly 20 years with the street department.

Jimmy is survived by a brother and sister; and good friends, Karen and Jeff Griggs. He was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Judith Donaldson; and parents, Marion and Martha Donaldson.

Cremation rites have been accorded, and no services will be held. Memorials are suggested to be made to Donor’s Choice. Online condolences may be left to the family at www.nieburfh.com. Niebur Funeral Home in Pittsfield is handling the arrangements.
