Jade Marie (Smith) Johns

Jade Johns, age 39 of Pittsfield, IL passed away Sunday, December 28, 2025, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL. She was born February 17, 1986, in Quincy, IL to Anthony and Alicia Gratton Smith.

Jade grew up in Pittsfield and attended Pittsfield schools. She worked at Wendy’s for several years and was a stay-at-home mom. She liked to sing and dance, host parties, enjoyed getting family and friends together, watching movies, and loved celebrating Halloween. Jade was very proud of her appearance and was an extremely expressive person who loved to showcase her unique personality in the way she dressed and especially with her vibrant blue hair!

Jade is survived by her father, Anthony Smith; significant other, Tracy Johns; children, Phantom Johns and Jamen Johns; grandchildren, Adellyn, Jamenson, and Betty; brothers, Aaron Smith, Zachary (Brittany) Smith, and Jacob (Jeri) Smith, sisters, Lacy (Jason) Rennecker and Echo (Michael) Clowers; and several nieces and nephews also survive.

She was preceded in death by mother, Alicia Smith; grandfather, Rex Smith; three children at birth, Eliza, Rebecca, and Malachi; and nephew, Landen Hettinger.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM, Monday, January 5, 2026, at Niebur Funeral Home in Pittsfield, IL with visitation to be held prior to the service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Gray Cemetery in New Salem, IL. Memorials are suggested to be made to the family c/o Niebur Funeral Home.
