Isaac E Baker

Isaac E. Baker, age 44 of New Canton, IL passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at his home. He was born July 31, 1979, in Pittsfield, IL to Richard and Lillie Clinging Baker.

Isaac attended West Pike School in Kinderhook, IL. Isaac worked in several restaurants over the years in Quincy, Chicago and Springfield; one of his greatest joys was preparing meals for others. He liked to fish and spend time outdoors hunting for treasures. Isaac loved spending time with friends and family and he was always the life of the party. He enjoyed making people laugh and was a good listener and dearly loved his kids.

Isaac is survived by his parents; children, Trinity Baker, Takaria Baker, and Talia Baker; uncles, Michael (Andrea) Baker and Ray Seyl; and numerous cousins also survive.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Marcita and Roland Baker, Donald and Evelyn Clinging; great-grandmother, Margaret Perrine; sister, Keshia Belle Baker; aunt, Mary Smith; and uncle, Willard Clinging.

Graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, October 16, 2023, at Parklawn Cemetery in Barry, IL. Memorials are suggested to be made to the family c/o Niebur Funeral Chapel.
