Dwayne W. McDaniles

Dwayne William McDaniles, age 61, of rural Fishhook, IL passed away Saturday, December 23, 2023, surrounded by family at his home. Dwayne was the son of Charles and Starr (Haney) McDaniles, born February 25, 1962, in Pittsfield, IL.

Dwayne grew up in Pearl, IL and in his youth enjoyed hunting and fishing. He drove a semi-truck for 23 years and then cut timber and did odd jobs to keep busy. Dwayne liked to play pool and made many friends through the years. He hunted even though fur prices were bad, and raised American Red Tick hounds and hunted when he could to hear the dogs tree.

Dwayne is survived by partner of 17 years, LeeAnn McDaniles; daughter, Ashley Graham of Winchester, IL; sons, Mikel (Danielle) McDaniles of Henderson, NV and Scott McDaniles of Seattle, WA; grandchildren, Hadley, Hudson and step-granddaughter, Chloe; brothers, James (Tony) McDaniles, Charlie (Bobby Lynn) McDaniles and Lee (Carrie) McDaniles; sister, Starr (Jeff) Lippincott; step-sisters, Terri (partner, Clifford) McDaniles and Billie (John) Parker; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Starr McDaniles; father, William Robertson; and stepsister, Vicki Wanick.

Cremation rites have been accorded and there will be a visitation for friends and family held from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at Niebur Funeral Home in Pittsfield.
