Donna R. Vaughn, aged 80, of Atlas, IL went to be with Jesus Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at Barry Healthcare and Senior Living Center surrounded by family. She was born on April 4, 1946, in Tecumseh, MO to Jack and Gloria (Little) Martin. She married Floyd Vaughn in 1979 in Quincy, IL and he preceded her in death on August 3, 2018.
Donna worked many different jobs over the years. She was a school bus driver, manager at McDonald’s, meat cutter at Golden Corral, and a cook at the Barry Senior Center. She was known for her vivacious attitude and quirky personality. She enjoyed reading a good book- especially Westerns, watching her TV shows, and had a passion for gardening. She enjoyed spending time with her family most of all.
She is survived by; her children, Paula (Jesse) Logsdon and Sean (Marcie) Wittler; grandchildren, Josh (Brandy) Logsdon, Rebecca (Brian) Hillary, Jessica (Brian) Mayberry, and Sarah (Art) Swank; great grandchildren, Trenton, Michael, Steven, Landon, Tori, Krista, Brittany, Leeland, Keytn, Ian, Kinsley, Hudson, Jackson, and Grant; bonus grandchildren, Crystal, Raejean, and William Jr.; and brother, Greg (Pam) Martin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Gloria Martin; and husband, Floyd Vaughn.
A funeral service will be held July 6,2026 at 11:00 am at Niebur Funeral Chapel in Barry, IL. Visitation will be prior to the service, from 10:00- 11:00 am. Interment to follow the service at Park Lawn Cemetery in Barry, IL. Memorials are suggested to the family in care of Niebur Funeral Chapel.
