Donald Heath Hibbard

Donald Heath Hibbard, age 49 of Baylis, IL passed away Thursday, January 11, 2024, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL. He was born January 29, 1974, in Pittsfield, IL to Vernor Dwayne and Barbara E. Fible Hibbard.

Heath started school in Baylis and later moved and graduated from Momence High School. He was of the Christian faith and was a hard-working man with a big heart. Heath was considered a jack of all trades but mainly carpentry. He also farmed and loved to take care of the livestock. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time outdoors off roading on his 4-wheeler, fishing and hunting both turkey and deer.

Heath is survived by his parents, Barbara Hibbard and Dwayne (Dona) Hibbard; daughter, Ashley (Jacob) Dorris; grandchildren, Miles and Theo; brother, Wes (Lisa) Hibbard of Ashkum, IL; nieces and nephew, Dacia, Jacob and Hadassah Hibbard; and several aunts and uncles also survive. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Cremation rites have been accorded and a memorial service will be held at 11:30 AM, Thursday, January 25, 2024, at New Salem Methodist Church with a meal for friends and family to be held after the service.
