Catherine "Cathy" Lorraine (McChristian) Lee

Catherine “Cathy” L. Lee, age 60, of Mason City, IL. passed away, April 12, 2022 at Mosaic Medical Center in St. Joseph, MO. She was born on December 4, 1961 in Louisiana, MO to Orval Allen and Frances (Jamison) McChristian.  She first married Harold Kindle, and later married Dennis Lee on April 4, 2019, and he survives.

Cathy grew up in Pike County, IL.  She cleaned houses and was a short order cook in her early working years. After marrying Dennis, she became a homemaker.  She liked riding along with him on his hauling runs and visiting new places.  Cathy loved shopping and being with her friends. Most of all, she loved getting together with her family and celebrating holidays. She was loving, kind, and caring, loved to laugh and be silly, and was maybe just a little ornery at times. She will be dearly missed by all those that loved her.

She is survived by her loving husband, Dennis Lee; sons, Cletus McChristian, Allen (Maggie) McChristian, Curtis (Alysha) Kindle,  and James Kindle; grandchildren, Ethan McChristian, Devon (Jordan Moss) Kindle, Natalie Kindle, Eli Kindle, and Robert Lee Johnson; mother, Frances Honeywell; brother, Fredrick McChristian; sisters, Barbara Bell, and Lora White; and father-in-law, June R. Lee.

Cathy was preceded in death by her father, Orval Allen McChristian; brothers, Orval McChristian, and Charles “Terry” Edward; and mother-in-law, Adoraline Lee.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 19, 2022 from 6:00-7:00 P.M. with funeral service at 7:00 P.M. at Niebur Funeral Chapel in Barry, IL.
