Blane Lee Miller, age 20, of Hull, Illinois, passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at his home in Hull, Illinois. He was born April 21, 2005, in Quincy, Illinois, to Bradley Miller and Crystal (Fesler) Barker.
Blane grew up in Barry and graduated from Western High School in 2023 where he played basketball, baseball and football. During high school he worked at Wendy’s and Subway. He went on to work for the City of Barry, FS, and Bart Smith. Recently Blane took on small construction jobs and could take anything apart and put it back together. He was good with his hands and anything he touched. He loved to fish and work out. Blane loved music and would sometimes sing with his dad. He played guitar and was getting into writing music. Blane will be remembered as always smiling, and as a kind, caring, sweet soul who loved his family and friends. Blane admired his little brother, Brendan just as deeply as Brendan admired him; and he also shared a special bond with his cousin, Skylar.
Survivors include his parents, Bradley Miller and Crystal (Jade) Barker; brothers, Brendan Miller, Briar Barker, Hayes Frericks, Lincoln Frericks; sisters, Baylor Barker and Janyla Miller; aunts and uncles, Trisha (Nathan) Bainter, Hadley Fesler, Billy (Sue) Miller, Brian (Sarah) Miller, Bridget Lord, Brett Miller, Melisha Hoover, Trevor (Kayla) Miller, Mckenzie (Brad) Tomhave, Candance (Brent) Gleckler, Korey (Lisa) Wombles, Caleb (Hayley) Wombles, Kacie Lipcaman, Kelsey Baker and Shelby (Matt) Gleckler; grandparents, Diana Fesler, J.C. & Sarah Barker, Kevin & Terri Wombles; great-grandparents, Julia Forshey and Reba Pease; and numerous great-aunts, great-uncles and cousins survive. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Thomas Fesler, William “Bill” Miller and Brenda Myers; and great-grandfather, Donald Forshey.
Services will be held at 12:00 PM, Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at Niebur Funeral Chapel in Barry, IL with visitation held prior to the service from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Park Lawn Cemetery in Barry, IL. Memorials are suggested to be made to Gardner Camp. Online condolences may be left to the family at www.nieburfh.com.
