Betty J Baldwin

Betty J. Baldwin, 68, of Pittsfield, died Monday, December 4, 2023 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy.

She was born September 16, 1955 in Phoenix, AZ, the daughter of William and Lois Braden Hunnicutt. She married Danny Baldwin and he preceded her in death on July 23, 2019.

She is survived by her mother, Lois Hunnicutt of Roodhouse; one son, Daniel (Valerie Brawdy) Baldwin of Pittsfield; one daughter, Christina Baldwin of Pittsfield; two grandchildren, Keaton Bratsch and Kinlee Simmerman; two brothers, Terry and Patrick Hunnicutt; three sisters, Ruth VanMeter, Sharon Mast and Rayla Murphy; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Betty was preceded in death by her father, husband, and two brothers, Thomas and Raymond Hunnicutt.

Betty enjoyed craftwork, especially crocheting, needlework and knitting. She was a collector of wolf dreamcatchers and admired Betty Boop. She loved being a grandma and working on puzzles with Kinlee.

Cremation will be accorded. There will be no formal services. Memorials are suggested to the family c/o Niebur Funeral Home, 530 West Adams, Pittsfield, IL. 62363. Online condolences may be left to the family at www.nieburfh.com. Niebur Funeral Home in Pittsfield is handling the arrangements.
