I am so sorry to read of Dorothy's passing.  I taught with her at South School and always asked for her to substitute for me when I was absent.  She ALWAYS did exactly what was written in the lesson plan and I knew the children would learn what I had planned for them that day.  I cared a great deal for Dorothy!!

My sympathy to the entire Apps family for the loss of Dorothy. I will always remember Dorothy as a very kind lady with exceptional character. Your family was so blessed to have such a wonderful mother, grandmother, and teacher. It was evident in the way she lived her life that family and faith were of utmost importance to her. I know she will be deeply missed. Thinking of you all.

Jacque and Chris, sorry to hear your grandmother passed away.  She was a very sweet lady.  Have memories of seeing her when we would go to Apps Supermarket for Grandma Jay and also hearing her play piano/organ when I went to church with Grandma Sadie.  So sorry for your loss.

Helen,  Donnie, and families
I am thinking of you and how this gentle lady will be missed by so many. Dorothy was an example of a true Christian lady. I imagine how proud and Blessed you are to be her family. She and your Dad were always so kind to me
and interested to hear of our family.
My hope is you find comfort in your warm and pleasant memories. I feel God has greeted Dorothy with Well done, good and faithful Servant. This as she joins your Dad who has been welcomed the same.
May God Bless you all,
Sincerely, Bonnie
