|I have so many memories as a child of Don. Spending many over nights at their house with Sandy. Never a dull moment in a home filled with love and laughter. Thinking of you all.|

|Our love and prayers go out to the Don Hayden family. We have known Doodle-bug for a long time. In fact he and Joe used to share a ride while they were students at Western IL University in the fifties. He will certainly be missed by many.|

|“Doodlebug” was a couple years ahead of me in school, but I remember him well as a very funny guy who always had a good story for all to hear. We were also members of St. Mary’s, and Betty was a dear friend of mine from 1st grade on! He will be missed by his family and friends.|

|I read in the Pike Press of Donnie's passing. I send the family my sincere condolences. Donnie and I were cousins and when we were small and lived closer together we played together. In those days the men who worked on the highway past our house brought their lunches and put them under our shade tree.
So one day Donnie and I found the lunch and ate it. we thought it was good. But the gentleman was not happy and told my Mom who made him a sandwich. Of course we were scolded and never did it again. I remember his fun times and sure he will be missed.
