My sympathy and prayers to the family.
Remembering Velma:  Her devotion to Bill and her daughters and their families.
Memories of square dancing with them and attending QU basketball games when Lisa played.  Time will eventually make this loss easier to bear and you have many happy memories to share with each other.

So sorry for your loss. Velma was a wonderful lady. Enjoyed visiting and spending time with all of you at the many square dances I attended with my parents (Weldon and Gracie Fearneyhough). May you find comfort and peace in the memories. With sympathy. Sara

I remember Velma at the Ellis reunions and visiting your home during that Reunion where all of the Ellis sites were visited in the Detroit area. I've been proud to be part of the Ellis clan. Frances infectious laugh is a good memory of mine and everyone there sharing. My Mother Lois Ellis Hammerton Lightle and Grandmother Annie Ellis Hammerton is my connection to you.

Velma and my mother, Dorothy Moore Mills, were lifelong friends. They didn’t see each other often but I think it was the kind of friendship where that didn’t matter. They always picked where they left off. My thoughts and prayers are with the Christison family.

Even though I didn't know Velma personally, I could tell that she was the center of a close-knit loving family from conversations with Amy during my hair appointments. I am so sorry for your loss.
