I loved Juanita! She was lovely when she waited on us at Strauss's. Later she would come visit me when we ran the hardware store in the early 2000s. She brought me a clipping from when I'd won the Bicentennial essay contest in the 8th grade. She'd saved it for all those years. It really touched my heart.

Years ago I lived across the alley from Paul & Juanita. They were a special couple, always friendly and kind. My sympathies to the family of Juanita, such a sweet lady, she will be missed by many.

My grandmother Juanita was a kind, loving and sweet women. I remember going to her house on the weekends and she was always so happy and excited to see us and we were always happy to see her to. She would always make Salisbury steak, potatoes, rolls and her famous macaroni and cheese. I will miss her laughter and her smile. But most of all I will miss her. Thank u to everyone for your kind words and prayers. They really mean a lot. I love you grandma.
