Jamie Ann Wintjen, age 47, of Pittsfield, IL peacefully passed away with her family by her side on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at Blessing Hospital.  She was born on September 19, 1973 in Pittsfield, IL to Wilford Wintjen and Beverly Hailey.

Jamie graduated from Norman High School in Norman, OK and went onto college to receive her Associates Degree.  She worked various places as a secretary including Norman Radiology and Tinker Air Force Base.  Due to her health, she had to quit working and she returned back to Pike County after living in Oklahoma for 25 years.  She was talented at painting ceramic figures and liked going to yard sales.  Mostly, she loved spending time with her daughter, Ashlinn.  Jamie was a very caring and accepting person who loved life.  She enjoyed being around her family and was an excellent caregiver to her grandmother.  She will be missed.

She is survived by her mother, Beverly (Edward) Hailey of Pittsfield, IL; father, Wilford (Rosemary) Wintjen of Oklahoma; daughter, Ashlinn Marie Wintjen of Pittsfield, IL; grandmother, Mavis Lemons of Pittsfield, IL; aunts and uncles, Elaine (Frank) Hoaglin, James (Sally) Lemons, and Mike (Bridget) Lemons, all of Pittsfield, IL as well as Marsha (Ron) Dugan and Dorothy Brown, all of Bowling Green, MO and Dean Wintjen of Michigan; special cousin, Gena Londrie of Pleasant Hill, IL and numerous other cousins.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Jackie Marie Wintjen; and grandparents, Jack Lemons, Mary Emma Cress, and James Wintjen.

No services will be held at this time and cremation rites have been accorded.  Memorials are suggested to be made to Ashlinn Wintjen’s Education Fund.  Online condolences may be left to the family at www.nieburfh.com.  Niebur Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
