Vicki Lynn Butler, age 67, of Pittsfield, IL passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2020 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, IL.  She was born on June 17, 1952 in Pittsfield, IL to Milburn L. and Mary Conkright McClintock.  She married Tracy L. Butler on August 24, 1973 at Calvary Baptist Church in Pittsfield, and he survives.

Vicki graduated from Pittsfield High School and went on to work in Springfield at the Department of Conservation before transferring to Pittsfield to work for the Department of Human Services.  She retired after 32 years of service to the State of Illinois.  She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and the Pittsfield American Legion Woman’s Auxiliary.  Vicki sold Mary Kay and loved to go shopping.  She enjoyed reading, mowing her yard with her John Deere, and sitting on her screened in porch to watch the hummingbirds.  Vicki attended all of her grandchildren’s activities and loved visiting her son in Chicago and having him cook for her.  She greatly enjoyed music and singing, and always had music playing at home and in the car.  Vicki and her husband, Tracy, liked to go camping also.  She dearly loved her three cats that adopted her, as well as her dog Cocoa that she had for 18 years.  Vicki was a selfless and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, and loved unconditionally.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Tracy Butler; her son, Brian Butler of Chicago, IL; two stepsons, Rich Butler of Pittsfield, IL and Randy (Sonya) Butler of Mackinaw, IL; four grandchildren, Jason Butler, Joseph Butler, Allison Butler, and Drew Butler; three great grandchildren, Chase Butler, Aubrey Butler, and Wrenna Butler; a brother, Gene Martin of Pittsfield, IL; sister, Ruth Lutrell of Mississippi; special friends, Phil and Gail Rector, and Glen and Marilyn Spindel; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Milburn and Mary McClintock; brother, Randy McClintock; daughter-in-law, Donna Butler; and special friends, Bill and Bev Guthrie, Fred and Beverly Kraus, and Jack and Chris Higgins.
