We lived near Pearsons Produce market since 1990 and always enjoyed stopping by to buy fresh vegetables and talk with John. He was a real gentleman!! Always looked forward to peach season. I knew I could get the best Red Havens at Pearsons. It's been a pleasure to know him and watch his family grow! Prayers to his family!

We are very sorry for your loss. John will be greatly missed. He was a very caring, honest and generous individual. He always had a smile and warm greeting when we would stop to visit with him. He really loved and took care of his family and friends. We are sure going to miss seeing him at his produce market.

John was a good friend of mine at the Pearson Market in Detroit, Illinois. A very polite gentleman who provided special orders, and would sell a frame of honeycomb and select produce. He confided in me that when to went to buy his produce, he never would take what was put out for sale, but would request they get his produce out of the storage room. He said that way it was not picked over and handled and squeezed. Over 50 years of friendship, and he will be missed.

For Evelyn, Donna, Tasha and your extended families,
My condolence to you and yours. I remember John at the Detroit market.
I always enjoyed going there. Could always count on getting fresh and quality fruits, veggies, at a fair price. Usually a brief friendly chat also.
My Sincere Sympathy,

Scot Moore and Stephanie Reeder
