Judith Ann Parrick, age 76, of Barry, IL, formerly of Hunnewell, MO passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at Hannibal Regional Hospital in Hannibal, MO.  She was born on March 6, 1943 in New Canton, IL to W. Roy and S. Almeda Harrison McLaughlin.  

Judy spent most of her life living in Barry, but had relocated to Hunnewell, MO where she had lived for the past 20 years.  She loved crocheting and made afghans for all of her children and most of her grandchildren.  She and her long-time companion, Joe House, had a booth at the Colony Flea Market and liked to go to antique shows and other flea markets.  Judy was very involved in the Barry Cancer Support Group and was a past President of the Women’s VFW in Barry.  She was also a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in New Canton.  Judy dearly loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her companion, Joseph House of Hunnewell, MO; children, Ken (Beth) Owens of Liberty, IL, Erick (Kalissa) Owens of Barry, IL, Tim (April) Owens of Quincy, IL, Sarah (Randy) Donath of Palmyra, MO, Debra Griffith of Chillicothe, MO, David (Lawanda Willis) House of Hunnwell, MO, Billy House of Hunnewell, MO, and Andy (Katie) House of Hunnewell, MO; twenty-nine grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren;  and three sisters, Helen (Carl) Furniss of Barry, IL, Kathy (Gary) McVeigh of Barry, IL, and Mary Butler of Kansas City, MO.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Buddy Parrick; her parents, Roy and Almeda McLaughlin; great granddaughter, Zoe Reedy; and sister, Karen Richards.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 26, 2019 at 12:00 PM at Niebur Funeral Chapel in Barry.  Interment will follow at Park Lawn Cemetery in Barry.  Visitation will be held prior to the service on Thursday from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.  Memorials are suggested to be made to the Pike County Cancer Society.  Online condolences may be left to the family at www.nieburfh.com.  Niebur Funeral Chapel in Barry is handling the arrangements.
