Ronald L. Durbin, age 91, of Perry, IL, passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Eastside Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.  He was born on April 13, 1927 in Perry, IL to Paul and Clara Chenoweth Durbin.

Ronald owned a bar in Winchester called Town House in the 1970’s and then also owned one in the Lake of the Ozarks.  He later worked as a salesman selling cars, mobile homes, and insurance.  In the earlier years, Ronald enjoyed boating on the river and at the Lake of the Ozarks.  He also taught several people how to water ski.

He is survived by a son, Mike Durbin of Florence, IL; a grandson, Daniel Lee Barker of Baylis; brothers, Steve Durbin of Bowling Green, MO and Ken Durbin of Texas; a sister Pauline Mills of Warsaw, IL;  and half-brother, Gary Deyo.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

No services will be held.  Cremation rites have been accorded.  Online condolences may be left to the family at www.nieburfh.com.  Niebur Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

Our family enjoyed boating with Ron and his family on the Mississippi River. He will be missed. Thoughts and prayers to his family.
