Sandra L. Yelliott, age 66, of Pittsfield, IL passed away on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at her residence.  She was born on June 12, 1952 in Quincy, IL to Harold and Margaret Hall Smith. She married Ronald Lenover in 1972 in Mt. Sterling Illinois and he preceded her in death. Sandy then  married Roger Yelliott on February 14, 2001, and he survives.

Sandy graduated from Brown County High School, Class  of 1971.  In earlier years, she worked for FS and Tasty Treat in Mt. Sterling and later on worked at the Kepley House in Pittsfield for several years.  Sandy was very active in her children’s lives growing up, coaching her kids’ baseball teams.  She was a mom to a lot of people and her house was the place to be, always leaving the light on.  She loved to go to flea markets and enjoyed car races.  She also liked going out to eat.  Sandy’s yard also showed her love for flowers and she never knew a stranger.  She will be missed for her loving, caring, and generous heart.

She is survived by her husband, Roger; son, Douglas (Molly) Lenover of Versailles, IL and stepson, Kevin (Debbie) Ketchum of Pittsfield, IL; daughters, Tina (Brian Shinall) Rumple of Griggsville, IL, Lisa Taylor of McLeansboro, IL, Melissa (John Edlin) Lenover of Rushville, IL, and stepdaughter, Kara (Kevin) Gray of Foreistell, MO; thirteen grandchildren, Bradley (Kelsey) Rumple, Brock (Alesha) Rumple, Brett Rumple, Logan Rapp, Ethan Rapp, Hunter Rapp, Bryar Lenover, Sterling Lenover, Merritt Lenover, Malayna Lenover, Dallen Lashmett, Kaleb Collver, and Khloe Gray; great grandchild, Gannon Rumple; sisters, Shirley Llewellyn of Clayton, IL, Betty Allen of Clayton, IL, and Linda (Marvin) Cady of Lincoln Park, MI; and a brother-in-law, Kenny (Traci) Yelliott of Pittsfield, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Wayne Smith and Gerald Smith.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 5, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Niebur Funeral Home in Pittsfield, IL.  Interment will follow at Pittsfield West Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 4, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.  Memorials are suggested to West Cemetery.  Online condolences may be left to the family at www.nieburfh.com.  Niebur Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
