Floyd Albert Vaughn, 66, of Barry passed away August 3, 2018.  He was born February 22, 1952 in California, a son of Katherine and Glen Vaughn.  He married Donna Martin in 1979 in Quincy and she survives.

He worked at Quincy Recycle for many years and also worked as a farm hand which was his passion.  Floyd enjoyed camping, fishing and his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Donna, two daughters, Paula (husband Jesse) Logsdon of Barry and Amy Strieker of Rock Island, IL  a son, Anthony Sean (Marcie) Wittler of Mesa, AZ.  Sisters; Louise Powell of Quincy, Carrie Miller of Barry, Sharon  Irwin of Barry , Treva (husband Paul) Neiders of Quincy and Dovie Traw of Chicago. Brothers; Melvin (wife Bev) Vaughn of Quincy and Charles (wife Lenora) Vaughn of Granite City, IL. Also surviving are grandchildren; Joshua Logsdon, Rebecca (Brian) Hillary and Sarah (Art) Logsdon. Six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters; Betty Jackson and Norma Morcun and brothers; James, Bobby, Glen and Howard Vaughn.  

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 P.M., Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at the Niebur Funeral Chapel in Barry with Mike Malone officiating. Burial will be at Park Lawn Cemetery following the service. Visitation will be from noon until the time of the service on Tuesday.   Memorials are suggested to the Family.  The Niebur Funeral Chapel in Barry is handling the arrangements.

To our beloved Uncle Floyd you are forever in our hearts and the memories of the many wonderful times spent with you will stay with us tell our lord above calls on us and we can be together once again. You are already missed so much by so many. Your voice, laugh, and smile never forgotten.
