Donna Jean Butler, age 55, of Pittsfield, IL, passed away on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at her residence.  She was born on December 27, 1962 in Pittsfield, IL to Donald and Betsy Robbins Greening.  She married Richie Butler on July 24, 1982, and he survives.

Donna was a 1981 graduate of Pittsfield High School.  She went on to work for Capitol Records, which turned into EMI, then went to work for True Manufacturing in Bowling Green, MO.  For the past 10 years, Donna managed the Pittsfield Subway.  In her spare time, she loved to crochet and has made many blankets for family and friends.  Donna was an avid concert goer and had been patiently waiting to see Rod Stewart.  She also enjoyed Cardinals baseball games, but thoroughly loved watching her boys, and now their children, play ball.  Donna loved her dogs and collected owls, and also enjoyed her rock and flower garden.  Most of all, she loved her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Richie; two sons, Jason Butler and Joseph (Megan) Butler, all of Griggsville, IL; three grandchildren, Chase Butler, Aubrey Butler, and Wrenna Butler; two brothers, Dennis Greening of Iowa and Ed (Donita) Greening of Springfield, IL; two sisters, Janet (Mike) Rohn and Denise (Gary) Davis, all of Pittsfield, IL; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one great niece, Macey.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, June 29, 2018 at Niebur Funeral Home in Pittsfield.  Interment will follow at Pittsfield West Cemetery.  There will be a visitation prior to the service on Friday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.  Memorials are suggested to me be made to the family.  Online condolences may be left for the family at www.nieburfh.com.  Niebur Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
