Byron Joseph Schrier, 6 years old, of Pleasant Hill, IL passed away on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at Illini Community Hospital in Pittsfield, IL.  He was born on February 16, 2012 to Amanda Johnson in Jacksonville, IL.

Byron recently finished Kindergarten at Pleasant Hill Elementary School.  He loved playing outside, jumping on the trampoline, and catching frogs.  Recently, Byron learned to ride his bike with no training wheels and liked riding around the block with his sissy and playing with his sisters and neighborhood children.  He and his mom loved riding down to the river together, stopping to sit on the car and sing songs.  He was also learning how to play Wagon Wheel on the guitar.  Byron always had a big smile on his face and loved making people laugh.  He was a happy, fun, and loving boy, and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his mother, Amanda Johnson of Pleasant Hill, IL; his father, Cory Howland of Pittsfield, IL; siblings, Lyndsey Johnson, Khloe Johnson, Skylar Vincent, Logan Howland, Landon Howland, Collin Osmoe, and Paxton Osmoe; grandparents, Kandyce Bridges of Murrayville, IL, Michael and Louise Schrier of Waverly, IL, Karen Osmoe of White City, IL, Cordell (Sharon) Howland of Taylor Springs, IL, and Sandy Howland of Pittsfield, IL; great grandparents, Carolyn (Barry) Kumler of Waverly, IL; Aunts, Jessica Schrier of Waverly, IL, Kristina (Lucian) Rawlings of Texas, Jennifer (Steve) Boucher of Alexander, IL, Jessica Howland of Pittsfield, IL, Kim Bauer (John) of Australia, Jamie (Jason) Damm of Jerseyville, IL, and Tiffany (Tyler) Marshall of Farmersville, Il; Uncle, Eric (Diane) Osmoe of White City, IL; and number cousins and friends.
