Eva M. McDonald, 64, of Pittsfield, IL passed away on Monday, May 28, 2018 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL.  She was born on March 5, 1954 in Quincy, IL to Robert and Carolina Spann Cawthon.  Eva married John McDonald on September 24, 1977 in Barry, IL and he survives.

Eva was a stay at home mother for many years before going on to work at McDonald's, where she worked for over 13 years.  She loved spending time with her grandkids and talking on the phone with her friends and family.  She collected angels and refrigerator magnets, and rose and lilac bushes were her favorite.  Eva enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and really loved being able to stay in touch with people through social media.  She also attended church at The Crossing in Pittsfield.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years, John McDonald; four sons, Jimmy (Morgan) McDonald of Littleton, IL, Robert (Terry) Smith of Peoria, AZ, Doug (Tami) McDonald of Pittsfield, IL, and Mark (Amy) McDonald of Barry, IL; eleven grandchildren, Sam Hetrick, Eli Norton, Mark Norton, Madison Moore, DaeLyn McDonald, Gavyn McDonald, Austin Mason, Courtney Mason, Dustin Mason, Mark McDonald Jr., and Tyler McDonald; one great grandchild on the way; three brothers, Robert Cawthon of Springfield, IL, John (Terry) Cawthon of Barry, IL, and Gary "Whiti" (Cathy) Cawthon of Barry, IL; two sisters, Maxine Bates and Donna Cawthon, both of Barry, IL; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a granddaughter, Grace McDonald; a brother, William Cawthon; and her Pomeranian, Buddy.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Niebur Funeral Home in Pittsfield with Clint Weir officiating.  Visitation will be prior to the service on Thursday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the funeral home.  Interment will be at a later date.  Memorials are suggested to the family.  Online condolences may be left to the family at www.nieburfh.com.  Niebur Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

Sorry about this person my stepfather was William S Cawthon of Mansfield Ohio who from Pittsfield IL I was would to know if she family members in Ohio State
