To the Ervin children and families, also Dorothy,
As I think of Richard and Helen I remember a very nice looking couple who were pleasant and friendly. I come to know Helen as a co-worker at Illini Hospital. Our 2 boys and I spent times at "Deeder and Ervin's." for their turn at haircuts. Sometimes we timed it right and would get each Barber for each boy at the same time!
I pray you many warm, comforting, maybe even some funny memories to sustain all of you now and in the days to come.

Richard was one of the Good Guys! Always pleasant, easy to chat with, laid back and I never saw him exited. I didn't get to see him often but I always enjoyed our time together. We both descend from Isaac Ervin and are cousins of some sort!
